Medium duty is the version of the rack that has to be good at everything. Heavy enough for commercial vehicles and medium earthmoving plant; light enough that modules are handled with site equipment rather than a crane; cheap enough to buy several bays.

Tracked machines are worth flagging early. Track loading is not the same problem as wheel loading, and a tracked excavator at the top of this class can concentrate load differently to a truck of the same weight.

Where it goes
The sites that move on when the job finishes
This is the class that goes out to infrastructure projects, rental fleets and industrial plants — anywhere plant has to be washed regularly, but nobody wants to build a wash bay that outlives the contract.
- Construction and infrastructure projects — washdown before machines leave, then relocation to the next project
- Equipment rental yards — plant cleaned and inspected between hires, so damage is found before the customer does
- Ready-mix and concrete facilities — trucks and mixer equipment washed with the solids captured
- Industrial plants and heavy vehicle workshops — a contained wash point next to the maintenance bay
