Closed-loop water recycling
Keep wash water on-site and stay ahead of discharge limits
Wash-water reclamation for vehicle washing in Switzerland — oil separation, multimedia and activated-carbon filtration, and resin softening, delivered as modular skids from 2,000 to 100,000 litres per hour.

Why recycle
Turn tightening water rules into lower running costs
Discharge limits are getting stricter and freshwater scarcer. A KKE recycling system reclaims and reuses most of your wash water — so you meet the rules, cut water and energy bills, and run a more sustainable site.
- Stay compliant — keep wastewater on-site and meet local discharge limits
- Use up to 90% less freshwater, and cut the bills that come with it
- Lower energy and running costs per vehicle washed
- Strengthen your ESG story and stand out to eco-conscious customers
The system
A compact, automatic system that installs in a day
The KKE W100 runs automatically with no manual intervention. Unlike systems that need large in-ground tanks for oil removal and sludge settling, the W100 does its work above ground in a compact footprint. Hard water fights alkaline chemistry; the wash detergent page covers what to check first.
- Fully automatic — no operator, no manual intervention
- Compact footprint — no large in-ground settling tanks
- Above-ground processing — service it without stopping the wash
- Skid-mounted & plug-and-play — arrives fully assembled; just connect inlet/outlet plumbing and power
How it works
Four stages, one closed loop
Each stage is skid-mounted and can be ordered separately, so you scale to your water and site. An optional aeration stage injects air to further cut odours. For the four treatment stages and what each removes, see wash water recycling.
Oil & sludge separation
An above-ground separator pulls oil, sludge and water apart — no multiple in-ground settling tanks, and maintenance happens without stopping the wash.
Oil–sludge separatorMultimedia filtration
Water passes through a vessel of sand, gravel and anthracite to strip out fine dirt and suspended solids.
Multimedia filterActivated-carbon filtration
An activated-carbon stage lifts filtration further and removes odour by adsorption — more effective than absorption.
Carbon filterResin softening
Where water is hard, a resin softener removes the calcium and magnesium salts that stain vehicles and sap shampoo and blower performance.
