Our range
Three tunnels. Match your volume.
The same modular wash line in three lengths. Pick on the traffic you expect and the site you have — then configure the stages inside it.
| Model | Throughput | Tunnel length | Site length needed | Typical operator |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| KKE Gamma 30 m | 100–120 cars/hour | 30 m | 45–50 m | Express chains, busy locations |
| KKE Gamma 18 m | 50–60 cars/hour | 18 m | about 33 m | Fuel stations, service centres, standalone washes |
| KKE Gamma 12 m | 20–30 cars/hour | 12 m | about 25 m | A first conveyor site, or a constrained plot |
Inside the tunnel
Every car meets every stage at the same speed
The conveyor sets the pace, so the wash does not change with the queue or with who is on shift: the same dwell under the foam, the same passes from the brushes, the same rinse on the hundredth car of the day as on the first.
- High-pressure pre-wash, then foam over the whole shell
- A cloth mitter curtain across the roof and the glass
- Vertical wrap brushes on the flanks and the nose
- Wax, spot-free rinse and blower drying before the exit
Express tunnel
KKE Gamma 30 m
Full-length express tunnel for high-volume operations. The conveyor moves cars through wash, rinse and dry without stopping, so a rush queues on the approach rather than in the bay. Maximum revenue per hour, and the configuration express chains buy.
- 100–120 cars per hour throughput
- Continuous conveyor — no stop-go cycles
- Express exterior through to full-service programmes
- Built for express car wash chains
Mid-volume tunnel
KKE Gamma 18 m
The sweet spot for mid-size operations: a full wash, rinse and dry cycle in a footprint most plots can actually accommodate, with room for the turning radius and the line-up. Ideal for petrol stations, service centres and standalone washes with steady traffic.
- 50–60 cars per hour throughput
- Full wash, rinse and dry cycle
- Balanced size for medium sites
- Lower investment than a full express tunnel
Compact tunnel
KKE Gamma 12 m
The way into the conveyor car wash business, and the model most often chosen to replace a trolley machine — it fits in close to the same length of bay. Lower initial investment, with the throughput a conveyor gives you over a machine that has to travel over every car.
- 20–30 cars per hour throughput
- Compact footprint — fits constrained sites
- Lower investment than the longer tunnels
- An entry point into the express wash business

A commissioned KKE tunnel, running
Not a stand model and not a render: a KKE conveyor tunnel in daily service — the belt set into the floor, the curtain hung off the gantry, the wrap brushes closing on the car, the portal naming the step. Every photograph on this page started as a frame of site video of that machine and has been digitally enhanced for the web; ask us for the originals, or come and stand in the lane.

Lower volume?
Need to wash 5 to 15 cars an hour?
Tunnels are built for throughput, and below a certain traffic level the length stops paying for itself. If your volume is more modest, a rollover gantry is usually the better buy: one bay, a smaller footprint, no conveyor and no loader — the car stands still and the machine moves around it.
cars an hour is about where a single-bay rollover tops out

FAQ
Common questions about tunnel car wash
Tunnel or rollover — which should I choose?
Tunnels handle 20–120 cars an hour and need a longer site: 12 m to 30 m of tunnel plus entry and exit space. Rollovers handle 5–15 cars an hour in a single bay. Choose a tunnel if you have the traffic and the length; a rollover if your volume is moderate or your site is tight.
How much space does a tunnel need?
The tunnel itself is 12 m, 18 m or 30 m depending on the model. Add 8–10 m for the queue at entry and about 5 m at exit for drying. Total site length works out at roughly 25 m for the Gamma 12 m, and 45–50 m for the Gamma 30 m.
Can I customise the wash stages?
Yes — the tunnels are modular. Choose from high-pressure pre-wash, foam arch, friction brushes, wax application, spot-free rinse and blower drying, and configure the stages around what your market expects and the price points you want to sell.
Is water recycling required?
Strongly recommended. At 50–120 cars an hour water consumption is significant, and recycling cuts fresh-water draw by up to 90% — which matters for both cost control and environmental compliance.
Do you provide installation and training?
Yes: complete installation, commissioning, operator training and after-sales support. A tunnel installation takes two to four weeks depending on site readiness, and remote diagnostics are available for ongoing maintenance.
What is the typical investment range?
It varies with tunnel length, the wash stages you choose and the accessories. The Gamma 12 m is the entry level; a Gamma 30 m in a full express configuration is the premium tier. Tell us about your site and we will price the configuration that fits it.
