The light-duty rack keeps every part of the system that matters — the galvanised module, the containment under the deck, the bolt-together assembly — and drops the steel that only an 80-tonne machine ever needed.
Why a light class exists
Structure costs money. Light vehicles don't need it.
Most portable wash racks on the market are built for heavy plant, because that is where the engineering attention goes. Wash a fleet of utility vehicles on one and you have paid for load capacity that will never be used.
So the light-duty rack is designed as the lowest-cost version of the same system, with its structural members, deck plate and reinforcement optimised specifically for light vehicles.

Vehicle classes on this page are design targets used to place a machine in the right structural class. Final axle, wheel and point-load capacities are confirmed by KKE Engineering for your specific vehicles before a rack is quoted — send us the machine list rather than working from the class alone.
If your fleet mixes utility vehicles with the occasional loaded pickup or small excavator, tell us — mixing classes on one pad is a structural question, not a preference, and it is cheaper to answer before fabrication than after.
