A Wheel Wash Built Into the Site, Not Parked On It
Where the operation is staying put — a processing centre, a long-lease mine, a cement plant — the wash bay is set on a concrete base rather than a relocatable steel frame. The concrete carries the load of continuous heavy-truck traffic and gives the installation a working life measured in decades rather than project phases.
The wash technology is the same one used across our portable range: hot-dip galvanised bay and ramps, high-pressure jets on the tread, sidewalls and undercarriage, and closed-loop water recycling. What changes is the foundation, the tank options and how sludge leaves the system.

Choose Permanent When the Site Outlives the Equipment
If the wash point moves with the working face every 6–24 months, a portable system on a steel frame is the right answer — it redeploys in a single workday with no foundations. If the wash point is fixed, a concrete base costs less over the life of the site, takes heavier continuous traffic and lets you build the tanks in concrete alongside it.

Automatic Sludge Removal
A dirt trap clears itself: a scraper conveyor lifts settled sludge out of the tank and drops it at ground level for a loader to take away.

How it works
From Dirty Tires to Clean Roads in Under 60 Seconds
Vehicle Drives Onto Wash Bay
Entry ramps guide the vehicle onto the bay. Sensors detect it and trigger the wash cycle automatically.
High-Pressure Spray Jets Clean Tires
Optimally positioned jets target tire treads, sidewalls and undercarriage. The number of tire rotations depends on bay length and how heavily soiled the wheels are.
Sediment Settles Out
Wash water drains to the tank below or beside the bay. Multi-chamber settling separates mud, rock and debris; an oil trap holds back hydrocarbons.
Water Recycled, Sludge Removed
Filtered water recirculates for the next cycle. With a dirt trap the scraper conveyor lifts sludge out continuously; with concrete tanks it is cleared on a planned cycle.

The model code is the answer to three questions about the site. Each one fixes a different part of it.

How much traffic?
Trucks per hour sets the bay length, and bay length is what decides how far the tread turns while it is under spray.

What kind of dirt?
Whether the solids your wheels carry fall out of still water on their own, or stay in it — and who gets them out again.
Sets the trailing C — a supplied PCET trap in place of a poured tank.
Rock, aggregate, coarse spoil
UG / AGHeavy solids drop out under gravity, so a concrete settling tank poured with the base copes — the cheapest tank on a permanent site. Sludge removal is manual, so the access has to be designed in from the start.
Fine coal, ash, sticky clay
UGC / AGCFines stay in suspension and would carry straight back to the nozzles. A C model is a supplied PCET unit: its scraper conveyor lifts sludge out to ground level continuously and an oil skimmer clears the surface.

Where does the tank sit?
The slab is going in either way, so this is about depth rather than whether to excavate at all.
Sets U or A — sunk into the slab, or standing on it.
Sunk into the slab
UG / UGCThe tank is formed below the finished level and the bay sits flush with the road. Deeper formwork, but nothing above ground to route traffic around.
Above the slab
AG / AGCThe tank stands on the finished slab with a transfer tank and the bay goes up on ramps. Shallower works and every tank stays reachable for inspection.
