The range

Pressure or flow, pick one

8 to 21 litres a minute across the range. Pressure shifts baked-on dirt. Flow covers ground faster. Which one you need depends on the work, and on the water you can feed it.

The drive

1450 rpm, four pole, direct

The pump turns at half the speed of a consumer machine's, straight off the motor with no belts. Slow is why it is still working in five years.

The parts

Serviced, not replaced

Triplex plunger pumps with ceramic plungers, and seal kits and valve kits held as stock items. A worn pump goes back to work rather than in a skip.

The range

Five cold water machines. Every one is direct drive at 1450 rpm.

The model number tells you the machine. The first number is water flow in hundreds of litres per hour. The second is working pressure in tens of bar. So a PW 6/13 gives 600 litres an hour at 130 bar.

The pump

The pump is the machine

Everything else is a way to turn a pump and feed it water. The pump is what decides whether the machine is still working in five years, so it is the part we specify first.

Every machine in the range runs an industrial triplex plunger pump, driven straight off the motor at 1450 rpm. Cross-section illustrative.

  • Three ceramic plungers in a brass manifold. Ceramic is what stands up to the water real sites actually feed a machine.
  • Forged crankshaft on ball bearings, running in oil. A slow mechanical assembly, built to run all day rather than in bursts.
  • Rebuildable. Seal kits and valve kits are stocked parts. A worn pump is serviced, not scrapped.
  • Direct drive. No belts to slip and nothing stepping the speed up.

Where they get used

The machine is much the same in every industry. What changes is the dirt, how often you wash, and where the water goes afterwards. Those three things decide which of the five you need.

Industry application

Automotive

High pressure cleaners do most of the washing in a vehicle workshop. They lift road dirt, mud and grease off paint, wheels and chassis without touching the panel.

  • Detailing: takes the heavy dirt off before anyone puts a hand or a mitt on the paint, which is where most wash scratches come from.
  • Car wash sites: pre-wash before an automatic machine, and the whole car by hand where the volumes do not justify one.

Industry application

Manufacturing

Plants collect dirt that turns into downtime. Pressure gets it off machinery and floors faster than a hose and a brush, and gets into places a brush cannot reach.

  • Equipment upkeep: clean machines run cooler and rust less, and a fault is easier to see on a clean machine than under a layer of grease.
  • Floors and walls: keeps the working area safe underfoot and makes a spill obvious instead of hidden.

Industry application

Agriculture

Farm machinery carries mud, crop residue and slurry between jobs. Getting it off is part maintenance and part biosecurity.

  • Machinery: mud left packed on a tractor or harvester holds moisture against steel and shortens its life.
  • Barns and livestock areas: washing down between batches is how hygiene gets kept, and it is the job pressure was made for.

Concrete dust, clay and slurry get on everything. A site that cleans its plant keeps it, and keeps the mud off the public road.

  • Site cleanup: takes dried concrete and clay off plant, formwork and structures before it sets hard.
  • Plant upkeep: tracks, buckets and tools last longer clean, and a clean machine is a machine you can inspect.

Food industry

Hygiene here is not housekeeping, it is the licence to operate. Pressure moves residue off stainless quickly, and reaches the corners of equipment that hands do not.

  • Processing plants: equipment, conveyors and production areas washed down to the standard the audit expects.
  • Kitchens and prep areas: surfaces, appliances and utensils in restaurants, hotels and catering.
