About KKE
We build the machines. Other people run the car washes.
We build the vehicle-wash systems other businesses run: automatic, measurable, and light on water. And we stay with them for the life of the machine.
Wasser, das wiederkehrt.
Since 1991
36 years of the same narrow job.
KKE has designed and manufactured vehicle-wash equipment since 1991 — cars, buses, trucks, mining vehicles and wheels, with the water plant and the chemistry that go with them. ISO 9001 for quality and ISO 14001 for environmental management.
Designed and built by us
Not badged, not bought in. The distance between our factory floor and a customer's site is short on purpose — whoever assembled a machine can be asked about it.
Installed by the people who made it
Water and power tie-in, programme set-up and operator training, done by us rather than handed to a third party who has never seen the machine before.
For the life of the machine
Spares, service and AMC are part of the product. We will not sell into a market where we have no answer for them, however good the order looks.
What we rule out
Six things we have decided not to do.
Written down so you can hold us to them, and so our own people know the answer before a customer asks.
Never
Sell a machine we will not service
No market entry without a spares and service answer, however good the order.
Never
Claim technology we have not shipped
Anything still in development is labelled as such. See the technology page — the roadmap is separated from what is in the machine today.
Never
Sell touch-free by attacking brushes
We build both. Neither is the better machine; the question is which fits the vehicles you actually wash.
Never
Run wash sites for our own account
We stay a manufacturer. Pilots to learn from, yes — a retail wash business competing with our own customers, no.
Never
Win on price against the incumbents
Automatic, measurable and light on water. None of those words is "cheap", and we would rather lose a job than pretend otherwise.
Never
Quote a number we cannot source
Where a figure lives on a drawing we cite the drawing. Where nobody has measured it, we say so instead of reaching for a round number.
Come and see one running.
The most useful thing we can do is put you in front of a machine doing the job you need done. Tell us what you wash and we will arrange it.
