Can ArrowClean Wash My Vehicle?
For almost every car, SUV and double-cab pickup, yes. What decides it is size: how tall the vehicle is, how long it is and how wide it is across the mirrors. Here are the three limits, and the answer for the vehicles we are asked about most.

If your vehicle is inside all three, ArrowClean can wash it. Measure it as it is driven, with everything that is fitted to it.

Will Your Vehicle Fit?
These are the makers' published sizes for the standard vehicle: length, body width without mirrors, and the height of the tallest factory version. Sizes change a little with the year and the trim, and anything you add changes them more. If you are close to a limit, measure your own vehicle.

Large 4x4s
Roof Racks, Roof Tents and Lift Kits
A Land Cruiser 300, a Patrol or a Defender is just under 2 m tall from the factory. That leaves about 30 cm before the 2.3 m limit. Most of the time the vehicle itself is not the problem. What goes on the roof is.
- The Land Cruiser 70 wagon is the exception. In its Gulf form it is already about 2.18 m tall, so even a roof rack can take it over. Measure it.
- A roof rack or roof bars add about 5 to 15 cm. Usually fine.
- A roof tent or a loaded rack can add 30 cm or more. Measure it.
- A lift kit or bigger tyres raise the whole vehicle. Measure it.
- Adjustable suspension: set it to the normal height before you drive in, not the off-road height.
Accessories
Nothing Reaches Out to the Vehicle
ArrowClean is touch-free. The gantry carries the nozzles over the vehicle and back, and nothing on it moves in to meet the paint. So a roof rack, a ladder, a raised air intake or a spare wheel on the back door is not something it can catch on. On ArrowClean, only the size of the vehicle matters.
- A spare wheel on the back door counts towards the length.
- A long aerial is best folded down or taken off.
- A vehicle caked in dried mud still wants a pass with a pressure lance first.
Vehicles ArrowClean Is Not Built For
Long American SUVs and full-size pickups. A Tahoe or a Yukon fits. The long versions, such as the Suburban, the Yukon XL and the Escalade ESV, are about 5.75 m long. A full-size pickup such as an F-150 is 5.9 m or more. Both are past the 5.5 m limit.
Dual-rear-wheel pickups. A crew-cab dually is 6.6 to 6.8 m long and about 2.45 m across the rear wheels. It is too long and too wide.
High-roof vans and minibuses. A standard-roof Hiace fits. A high-roof van is usually too long or too tall, and a minibus such as a Coaster is both.

How to Measure Your Vehicle
Park on level ground, with the tyres at their normal pressure.
- Height: from the ground to the highest point. Include everything on the roof.
- Length: from the front of the front bumper to the back of whatever sticks out furthest at the rear.
- Width: from the tip of one mirror to the tip of the other, with the mirrors open.
- Close to the height limit? If the vehicle is 2.15 m tall or more, measure it twice. We would rather you ask us than guess.

Common Questions
Can ArrowClean wash a Toyota Land Cruiser?
A Land Cruiser 300, yes. It is about 1.96 m tall and up to 5.12 m long, inside both limits. With a roof rack it usually still fits. With a roof tent, measure it first. The Land Cruiser 70 wagon is taller, about 2.18 m in its Gulf form, so measure it if anything is on the roof.
Can ArrowClean wash a Land Rover Defender?
Yes. A Defender 110 or 130 is just under 2.0 m tall, and even the 130 is under 5.5 m with the spare wheel on the back. A roof tent or an expedition rack can take it past 2.3 m, so measure it if one is fitted.
Can ArrowClean wash a double-cab pickup?
Yes. A Hilux, a Ranger or a D-Max is about 5.3 to 5.4 m long and under 2.0 m tall. A full-size American pickup such as an F-150 is too long.
Can ArrowClean wash a Toyota Hiace?
The standard-roof Hiace, yes. The current high-roof Hiace is too long. The previous high-roof model is short enough, but at about 2.29 m it is only just under the height limit, so measure it first.
Do the mirrors need to be folded?
On anything more than 2.20 m across the mirrors, yes. The opening is 2.40 m between the legs, and folding the mirrors leaves room for a driver who is not exactly in the middle of the bay.
Can ArrowClean be built taller or longer?
No. ArrowClean is one size. If your site needs to take bigger vehicles every day, a full-size rollover or a bus and truck wash is the right machine. Tell us the vehicles your customers drive and we will suggest one.
